Azad Engineering to Establish Exclusive Manufacturing Facility for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in Hyderabad
Hyderabad-based precision engineering company, Azad Engineering, is undertaking the establishment of a dedicated manufacturing facility for Japan’s Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. The company will invest $20 million in this state-of-the-art facility, with the foundation stone being laid at Tunikibollaram near Medchal on Wednesday.
Expected to be operational by mid-2024, the new facility will be integrated into Azad Engineering’s upcoming Centre for Excellence and Innovation Centre. It is projected to employ approximately 300 individuals.
Rakesh Chopdar, Managing Director of Azad Engineering, expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration, emphasizing that the exclusive facility is a testament to their commitment and continuous efforts in strengthening their partnership as a preferred partner of global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
